The best way to re-order a prescription is to use the NHS App
Download the NHS app on your smartphone or tablet to access a variety of healthcare services easily and securely App Store or Google Play.
If the doctor agrees, they may give you a repeat prescription. You won't need to show yourself. You will receive a slip with your new prescription. When you need a repeat, leave this slip at the surgery. Your new prescription should be ready for collection after two working days. Or, you may post your request to the surgery. Enclose a stamped addressed envelope for its return. If you use the post please remember to allow more time. You must state on your slip which items you need.
To avoid errors we do not accept requests for repeat medication over the telephone.
You can also request your prescription online. You can do this via the NHS App or by filling out the form below.
The local pharmacies in Ryde also offer a service. You can leave your request slip with them and collect your medication from them. You can do this without coming to the surgery. Or, you may have your repeat prescriptions set up on the e-prescribing system. Ask at reception or your pharmacy for more information about these.
You can now order your repeat prescription items via SystmOnline Services.
To register, please visit our reception with two forms of identification and complete a brief application. We kindly ask that you provide one form of identification, such as a current passport or a photo driving licence.
If you do not have either, your birth certificate will suffice. Additionally, please provide another form of identification, such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months, or this year's council tax bill.
Once you have completed the registration process, we will send you an email with instructions on how to activate your personal account for this service.
